SportImpact facilitator nominated Timor-Leste representative to the 2016 One Young World Summit

SportImpact’s head facilitator, Virginia da Graça, was invited to take part in the 2016 One Young World Summit, from 28 of September to 1 of October, in the Canadian Parliament Hill, in Ottawa. To make this possible Virginia received an All Bar None Sponsorship [initiative designed to ensure that outstanding young people from every country in the world are represented at the One Young World Summit 2016].

After traveling outside Timor-Leste for the first time last year, to attend the UNESCO Youth Forum in Paris, Virginia is gradually becoming a world traveler, increasing her network of young leaders worldwide with whom she learns more and shares her experiences. Virginia is deeply committed to use her knowledge and willpower towards a more developed Timor-Leste and a better world.

Remember that last year the UNESCO National Commission of Timor-Leste nominated Virginia da Graça as Timor-Leste representative to the 9th UNESCO Youth Forum, which took place at UNESCO Headquarters, in Paris. After observing Virginia facilitation skills and energy, the UNESCO team in Paris selected her as representative of the Asian youth to the UNESCO 38th General Conference, with the mission of sharing the recommendations produced during the 9th UNESCO Youth Forum.
